Common Kitchen Remodeling Questions
Still have a question? Call Bryant Builder at (831) 713-0187 and we will talk it through with you.
How much does a kitchen remodel cost?
There is no set price for a kitchen, because the work is priced around the choices you make. We discuss your budget at the initial consultation, which comes before you pick materials, so the plan is shaped around your number. Opening up the layout moves the cost differently than swapping one countertop or cabinet for another. The consultation and the quote are free, so ask us for a number on your own kitchen.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
It depends on the kitchen, so we do not publish a standard length. What sets the schedule is the scope, whether you are doing a minor update or a complete renovation, whether the layout changes, and the materials you select. We give you a schedule after the walkthrough, once those choices are settled, rather than a number that fits every job.
Will I need a permit to remodel my kitchen?
That depends on the scope of the work, so it is worth raising at your initial consultation, when we go over your goals and your budget. We manage the permitting process with you and keep it moving alongside the build. We cannot promise how a review will go, but you will not be chasing it on your own.
Do I have to pick out the countertops and cabinets myself?
No. That is what design and material selection is for, the step between planning and construction. We guide you through choosing everything from countertops and cabinetry to fixtures and flooring, and we offer a wide selection of premium options, so you are not sourcing any of it alone. We help you select materials that match your style and stand the test of time.
Do you remodel kitchens outside Watsonville?
Yes. We are based in Watsonville and remodel kitchens in Aptos, Santa Cruz, Monterey and the surrounding areas. If your town is not on that list, call us at (831) 713-0187 and ask, because we cover the surrounding areas as well. Wherever the kitchen is, the job is run the same way, and you work directly with Mike, the owner.
What happens if I am not happy with something once the kitchen is done?
Before we call your kitchen complete, we walk the finished space with you and check that every detail meets your expectations. That is what the final walkthrough is for: catching anything that is not right rather than leaving you to find it later. You raise it with Mike, the owner, directly. We also back the work with a satisfaction guarantee and a one-year finish warranty.
